The Biochemical Laboratory “Manolevi” is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and diagnostic tests that enable fast and precise diagnostics. As the laboratory is part of the Polyclinic Center, all urgent cases receive rapid lab results, facilitating quick diagnosis and treatment. This service is especially significant for the Pediatrics Department.

Since 2007, the laboratory has had an agreement with the Health Insurance Fund, allowing most laboratory analyses to be charged with a co-payment. This service is available to all patients, including registered and non-registered ones.

In addition to outpatient services, laboratory analyses are also available for patients who require blood sampling at home, particularly for elderly or immobile individuals, patients recovering from a stroke, those with heart conditions, or individuals needing post-operative laboratory analyses. This service is provided through home visits for blood collection.

The laboratory offers hormone analysis, tumor markers, and microbiological examinations (nasal and throat swabs, urine culture, eye swab, and sperm culture).
